Dvx slow motion help

I know there's a bunch of topics already on this but none satisfied what I'm looking for.

I'm looking to get very progressive looking slow-mo..
I understand that the best way to film for smooth clear slow-mo is by shooting 60i at high shutters and then slowing it down in a 24p timeline. I am using FCP. My problem is...

1. Do i capture my 60i footage at 29.97? 23.98? What are the capture settings into FCP?

2. How do you conform your timeline to 24p? Is it just altering the sequence settings or is there another step to make your timeline 23.98 fps?

3. Are there any other DVX progressive slow-mo settings/ methods?

I have used 60i at high shutter and then slowed it down in a 29.97 timeline, but the result is not pleasing. It looks very un-progressive and doesn't match well with normal 24p footage. WHAT DO I DO! Any help would be greatly appreciated. thanks
