DVX settings (like Varicam)

Hello, DP from GA here. I am spending my first day fooling with the DVX and was wondering if anyone knows anything about how to work the menus in order to achieve different film esque looks. I am so use to the Panasonic Varicam HD and being able to plug my memory card in with preset settings (Skipbleach, 3kingz, Amelie) that I was wondering if anyone knows any recipes for the DVX.

Matt, what you want to do is mess with your scene file settings. If you are used to the varicam, that menu is pretty much self explanatory, if not, there are documents on the web that adress some of them. Check out www.adamwilt.com and www.kenstone.net (The article is Painting images with the DVX)

On my upcoming DVD (see my signature line) I matched some of the looks from Magic Bullet Movie Looks, so there's a bunch of film-look recipes for looks like Bistro, War Epic Dark, Coral Tint, White Diffusion, Black Diffusion, things like that...
