DVX settings for docu.?

I know there's no "universal" setting and everything is very subjective, but I'm not sure where to begin testing ...
I'll be shooting a lot outside in hard sunlight (probably) and some inside a restaurant/hotel. I want to work with 25P and would like to have it look as good as possible. I will color correct and edit it in FCP.

The project will be made as a documentary with interviews and surounding shoots of the place ...

Would be great if someone could give me a total setting and i'll start testing from that. Im using the DVX not the "A" and hopefully be using the anamorphic adapter.

Before using ur anamorhic, I would suggest get Barry Green's manual first. this is specially imp as u intend to shoot a documentary

Try F5 throughout ur shoot, adjusting exposure as u move indoors or ourdoors.

Try to keep MANUAL control of ur shoot as long as possible. However, as a guideline, u can experiment with the auto settings initially and then try to emulate and fine tune the auto settings as ur scene demands.

'shooting in bright sunny day' in this forum will also give u some better hints of where to begin.

You ahve right ly said there is NO UNIVERSAL FIXED set of settings for THE BEST shoot. DVX is a very flexible tool, capable of adjusting to a shooting situation, if u know how to get it there. EXPERIMENT EXPERIMENT EXPERIMENT...before u start ur original shooting.
