Re: DVX rental?
Remember that he's a friend. In my city a dvx rent's $150 or something a day, also remember that insurance aspect, we all love our camera's and protect them. there' our's! when you lend them to people they become what they really are; another tool to get a job done. I:E: I'll just put this in the corner and go to the bathroom - it'll be okay by itself for 5 minutes in a crowd of 150 complete strangers>

If he's a pro and getting paid then $100. If he's not a pro and getting paid then $125-$150 (why more? because he's not use to handling quality equipment) If he's not a pro and not getting paid then FREE ...and tag along so you can some free food and meet some desperate brides maids.
Good luck!
