I've been looking at the DVx for several months now and was hoping for a second generation. To my suprise, they came out with it BEFORE I bought! Lucky me.
My question is, where should I buy? Are there 'unauthorized' dealers that will sell for a few bucks less but stick me with a grey market or unwaranteed camera? For this kind of purchase, I don't think I want a box only store that won't back me up. I'm used to dealing in Betacam and the broadcast equipment world. How is this different? I'm in the USA. Any and all advice on purchase will be appreciated.
Thanks
