DVX phantom power

Re: DVX phantom power

You just turn the phantom power switch to "on" for whichever channel you have your mic hooked up to. There are switches on the camera body, underneath the flip-out LCD.

Re: DVX phantom power

Just don't transfer the 48V phantom power from both channels to one channel for an incredible doubled 96V phantom power. Man when I plugged that shotgun mic in, it really lived up to it's name.

(couldn't resisit - just joking) ;-)

Re: DVX phantom power

Hehe, thanks for your help. I think I might have gotten a bad MKH 416 then. It was all dinged up and looked old, but I heard the durability of these things are legendary so I didn't attribute it to the mic being faulty.

Thanks for all your help.
