well, I've got my dvx. great!
but the problems I'm facing now maybe familiar to former 'new users': paranoia.
the rattling of the baby when its off has already turned out ok (actually useful those 'manuals' and their faq sections).
1) another baby worry: on the lcd i can see the horizontal lines rather clearly, esp. in indoor shots... i dont mean those ordinary lines of an lcd, esp visible on portable dvd players, but the lines are in a way that every five lines or so theres is a bit of a brighter line, and it goes on in that interval so there is a pattern... i get the feeling its normal and ive never seen it before on my xm2/gl2 cause its screen is so darn small
just back me up on this one...
2) another question, that actually should go into another topic, but its a quick answer kind of question... shutter at 1/50 or 1/25? i always feel like the 1/50 shutter gives the stuff a natural look, natural movement whereas the 1/25 has a cool motion blur to it, which i really like, but i feel like it pulls down the famous 'film look' and gives it a rather digital, dogmaesque feel ...see eg. dogville or even pieces of april (tho its sony)
