DVX Matteboc choices...

Hi -

Well as I continue to make my final selections of gear for the DVX camera setup I now turn to matteboxes.

1. What do most of you use?

I am thinking of a Chrosiel 4x4 DV sunshade with rods. It will have 2 filter stages - one that rotates - and can accomadate a follow focus if I wan tto add in the future.

It was also recommended that I consider a Cavision 4x4 matte box. This unit has a bellows shade that can extend from 35mm to 150mm.

Any thoughts on what might be the better option?

Chrosiel is top of the line, i'm assuming you picked these because they work with the ana lens. i use the cavision it works for me. here's a pic.

yes that is interesting, i didn't know there was any matte box other than the chrosziel 411-53pk that supported the panasonic ana lens.
