DVX for T.V. show?

Hi there, here is another stupid question.

I will be shooting in a studio setting (i.e. game show, kids show type setting), what camera will work best for me? Keep in mind I don't have a lot of money to spend.

What are the pros and cons of a DVX 100A or B, compared to another Panasonic camera?

I do have an old Betacam, would this work? better?

Is this my valid excuse to buy a DVX?

Are there any televisions shows shot with a DVX? How does it look?

Please advise.

wild boys and soderberg's K street are both DVX.

The images look great with this cam. Except what soderberg shoots. He makes video look yuky.

It's a great camera and a great investment. however, HDV looks like a more viable format. Maybe check the panny HVX200.
