Hi all,
for this coming event recording in singapore.
i am using BNC as a output to projector to show livefeed projection.
for recording of audio.
i am planning to use my me66/6k for interview and live recording.
my me66/6k will be mount on input2
while my input 1 will have a direct feed from the mixer.
just wondering, for the audio
is that the perfect setting ?
any better suggestion ?

Putting the mic into input 2 will be fine. I'm curious what is coming from the mixer though. Ideally the mic would go to the mixer then to the camera so that someone could manage the levels prior to the camera. That way you don't have to operate and control the audio levels as well. But if you're trying to capture some other part of the event from the mixer, then yes run it into input 1.

Hey, I do event recording as a full time job.

This is the set up i use.

Samson Micro Diversity 32 Wireless Lav on the Subject(or poteum)
and I put the board feed into channel 2

Monitor both channels individually, decide which one is best
and duplicate it in editing.
If no editing is involved and this is all done live.
do a good souncheck ahead of time and select
which one you want to monitor out.

As far as using the Sennheiser 66, i dont generally use a shotgun
for interviews.

good luck
