I got my Porta Brace CS-DV4 delivered today. I was using a homemade tool bag from Home Depot as a temp bag. The Porta Brace is roomy, sturdy, padded, and well designed. Great bag to consider if you're in the market.

I have that bag on order, actually the M model for matte box, but I don't know if it'll ever get here. Who did you order from?
I called and asked about that bag, and supposedly it will fit the dvx with mattebox, but you have to take the mattebox off (according to someone at EVS)... a bummer for sure if that's the case. (no pun intended)

Were you talking about the DV4 or the DV4M? Because my understanding is they make the DV4M so you can leave the matte box on. I'm still shopping for matte box's and my bag, the DV4M has been on order for 2 weeks so I can't answer the question. Hope I wasn't misinformed.
I asked about the "M" model... which from what I assumed, meant you can leave the box on... but the sales guy said you can't. Maybe I just got a nimwhit.
Hey Terry- Do you have the interior spec for the "M"?
