DVX and film festivals (Sundance)...

Anyone heard of films shot with a dvx (or I guess any other mini dv) doing well at sundance, other major film fests (besides Full Frontal, wherever that went) Anyone getting good feedback from dvx shot stuff, or are the film snobs keeping us at bay?

Do some searches and you'll find tons of information. For example, a DVX film won the award for "Best Cinematography" at Sundance this year, and a PD150 movie won the same award a couple of years ago. An XL1 movie had major theatrical release ("28 Days Later").

You're right about doing some searches. I partly wanted to see what users on this forum had to say, and the other part, because I was lazy - shame on me. BTW, I didn't know that 28 Days Later was shot on XL1, :o where the hell am I at?! I need to read more :'( Thanks again, I'm gonna go play my new ColecoVision Game, I heard somewhere that they make color tv's now, I'm gonna check that out...LOL
