Hi mate,
There are a number of threads in the DVX News forum (rather than this - lighting forum) that discuss the differences between the DVX10*, DVX10*A and the new DVX10*B.

"B" threads and articles are as follows: http://www.dvxuser.com/V3/showthread.php?t=37888
http://www.dvxuser.com/articles/100b/

The "102" designation is a European or PAL designation for some regions. Its also known as the DVX100E or DVX100AE or DVX100BE. 102 was designated so Panasonic could track grey market distribution...

In short - the 102 is the same camera...

Cheers, Nathan.

In summation, I believe that the 102 difference would just be a 25fps frame rate, or something along those lines.

The "102" is the Chinese market version of the "100", but otherwise identical. So a 102A and a 100AE should be identical, other than the model number. If you're using a 102 and you're not based in China, you've got a gray-market model. AFAIK.
