Hi everybody, i'm excited to be here. I would like to upgrade from my small pany gs-150 to a dvx100...but need your help or advice. I've read so much about pal cams having better resolution than ntsc , but i noticed that the dvx100be(pal) has 25p instead of 24p(ntsc). My question is which of the two cams is going to give me a more 'film-look'? does the pal version also have the advanced 24 or 25p advanced mode just like the ntsc?
I'm still new to videography and would like to get the best bang for my buck between the two versions. I don't mind about playing back on tv since i will be editing on computer anyway... which takes me to my other question; do i degrade the pic quality in anyway if i shoot in pal and then convert to ntsc?
