After a search on this forum and and looking in that wonderful fountain of information called the DVX 100B Operating Instructions Manual, I have not yet been able to find the "X" by "Y" resolution for the on cam LCD or viewfinder. I hasten to add that Barry's book has yet to come in the rebate package a month after I sent it in.
The manual says the LCD is 210,000 pixels and the viewfinder is 235,000 pixels.
Native resolution for a Standard Definition Fixed Pixel Display (for TV) is considered to be 704 x 480, DVD is 720 x 480 and it's obvious to the casual observer that the resolution in either the LCD or the Viewfinder doesn't equal either of those.
Just how many lines are vertical and how many are horizantal?
Will the real resolutions please stand up?
