Hey dudes,

Just wondering which camera would be the best choice and why? I film gigs and music videos along with bmx. Just now I have a vx1000, but for low light stuff it just aint good enough! And do you rekon it is worth while spending this amount of money on one of these cameras or would it be better holding off and getting an HD cam, which I really cant afford!?

Any advice would be appriciated!

Well, if you can't afford to get an HD camera then there is no reason to. Get a DVX100B, get Barry's book and DVD, and learn as much as possible. Polish your skills and step up to HD when you need to.
