DVshop in Toronto

Has anyone bought anything from or had any dealings with a prosumer/pro dv store in Toronto called, DVshop? It's on Dundas St. Their prices are better than Vistek on many things, but I have heard that their customer service and their in-store attitude with customers is -- well -- bad.
This may be too 'local' a question. Let me know if it is. Thanks, P.

They are not an authorized Dealer for the DVX100.. that should give you a red flag. However, they have been pretty friendly to me, dont know how "sincere" that friendlyness was considering the site, but they where pretty good. Its actually the only Canadian supplier I would recommend if they where authorized, as places up here just seem to lack.

I live in Vancouver and I bought mine from EVS in the States.. and most people here will tell you its the best place they have ever bought from.

Thanks Jarred. I bought my DVx100a from Vistek, and they have been my sole resource for mics, tripod, even information, until I found DVXuser. Now that I'm considering things like a mattebox, I thought I'd check the DVshop out. I think I'll pay attention to the red flags. It's too bad we can't get what we need here -- I guess my business goes to EVS. They sound like good people, from the posts I've read.
