It is really outstanding. If you plan on doing any amount of handheld work with your DVX this is THE way to go. You will not be disipointed.
So ya, I guess it is OK. ;)
 
Just got mine and I love it. I need a zoom controller next. Still looking into controller options.

Aye, I have one with the zoe beebop zoom controller and it works great. It makes composing shots a lot easier and gives you more control over the camera. Although it isn't a steadycam device, it can save you major back- and shoulder pains. You DO need the zoom controller though I think, and when I can afford it I think I might want a follow focus too...
 
I film alot of action stuff... is it possible to run with this thing? Or is it meant for more standing still/minimal movement.
