I've read great stuff here about the DVRig Pro for the DVX and similar cameras.

It looks like it's built for those who operate using the DVX LCD.
But I also noticed the other rig, the DVRig XL, built for the XL1/XL2.

I don't like buying accessories that are going to limit me in terms of what cameras I can use or own. I usually use the DVX but I might rent or upgrade to the XL2 for other projects.
So, my questions: Is it possible to buy one of these products and use it with both the DVX and XL2?
If so, which one would I get?
With the DVRigPro, maybe I could use the XL2 if I bought and attached an LCD, or bought a really extended viewfinder?
With the DVRig XL, could I use the DVX but just operate with the camera's viewfinder, or would the angle not work?
Finally, why does the DVRigPro have two handles and the DVRig XL has just one?
(Hoping Danny the inventor will see this post)
one more ?: What remote zoom devices do people recommend for these? Varizoom?
