dvrack and apple

this has been asked before im sure but im gonna ask again lol. does dvrack work well with the dvx100a in terms of beinf able to restore it back down to 24frames. how well does it allow integration with a mac and fcp, also does anyone make a apple alternative for dvrack?

DVRAck does not work with a mac. As far as I know there is nothing like it for Mac.

the dvrack website says that it is unlikely that dvrack will ever be ported over to mac. dvrck depends too much on windows, like maybe activex or something.

Pretty sure it's one of a kind on the market.

What about those emulator apps that run windows programs?. *Might* work... :-/

From what I remember reading on the DVRack website, you -cannot- use a Windows emulator on a Mac in order to get the program to work.

does dv rack work well with the dvx100a in keeping with the 24. what is the process if i wanted to shoot using a pc with dvrack and then take the saved file and transfer to my g5

Well, you'd shoot in 24p, capture using DV Rack, and transfer the files to your Mac. No big deal, it would work just fine. You can configure DV Rack to capture in Quicktime format, so it should be a simple file copy.

But, I haven't tried it...

if i go to put it on fcp do i still do the 3223 pulldown and will that work i want to go 24fps all the way through to dvd
