DVMultiRig Vs. Pag Orbitor--Which is more comfortable?

I recently bought the DVMultiRig, and I must say that I'm feeling quite a lot of pain in my upper and lower back after a few minutes of use. Since the shoulder brace doesn't lock into place, I don't feel like it's offering any support to my upper back. Also, the shoulder brace isn't very comfortable, as it's just basically a pole with foam around it. I've heard great things about this Rig. Perhaps I'm using it the wrong way?

Anyway, I know that the Pag Orbitor basically stole the design from the DVMultiRig, but the shoulder brace looks like it locks into place, and it seems to contour to the upper back in a way that's much more comfortable. I'd hate to give money to Pag, since they stole the design, but I don't think I have a choice.

Is there any way to make the MultiRig more comfortable, and offer more support? Has anyone used the Orbitor? Does it take the stress of one's back more?

Thanks in advance.

ramma5080,

Mail me a photo of you wearing the MultiRig with a camera on, and I will see what is wrong with your posture and will try to correct it.

Some people like a more sturdy and heavier sholder support, In this case the new DvRigPro. is a better choice.

Lets try and solve your problem first, If it wont work for you, we will offer you to change to a DvRigPro.

In any csae you will end up satisfied...

When I was helping demonstrate the Multirig at NAB I had it on all day no problem. Are you using the shock pole?

Thanks, Danny. I'll email you soon.

STYLZ, I'm using the shock pole, but since I'm not getting enough upper support, my lower back is in quite a lot of pain due to the shock pole placing all of the weight of the camera there.
