I posted a few days ago about converting a 2:2:2:4 timeline to 2:3:3:2 and other troubles I was having. At the time, I did not realize 2:2:2:4 was a low rez proxy.
I think I understand now based on this previous short thread:

My computer is a dual 533. I guess FCP knows this and that is why I do not have an option for 2:3:3:2 when using Print to Tape. Is this in fact correct?
Is there really a 2:3:3:2 output option when using Print to Tape in FCP? If there is, then I guess I don't need to buy the software from DVFilm in order to archive my project back to advanced pulldown.
I just need a much faster cpu!
