Just wanted to talk to some other people who might be using this. Its been a lifesaver for working with the Canon footage, but since it takes over the QT plugin, it's really made it impossible to work with any OTHER sort of QT stuff, which previously you could do on a limited basis in Vegas without too many problems.
Anyone else have the same problems or any ways you've worked around it? I'm lucky that I have a MBP laptop as well so I can transcode things I really need into another format, but it's not a really great way to work.
Also, what is the format most of you use to output a full rez 1080p file? I am working on things were EVERYONE else uses FCP, so they like getting prores422, but I know we can't do that here. I remember trying the AVID comprable codec when I first got this camera, but the ouput was horrible, and I ended up not needing to make the file so I just dropped the search at the time.
