Hi Guys,

I was wondering if I could ask a little advice.
I need to construct a DVD in PAL and another one in NTSC.
The content for both of the DVD'S are the same.
In reality both DVD'S need to be the same, just one in PAL the other in NTSC.
I am UK based so using PAL as standard and using DVDSP 4 and FCP 5.1.4.

Thank you ever so much.

You are in UK, so shoot 25p.

Do the opposite of point #3 in my post here: http://www.dvxuser.com/V6/showthrea...fps-timeline&p=2244253&viewfull=1#post2244253

In other words take your 25p footage and drop it on a 24p timeline. This will effectively stretch your footage by 4% as it maps out frame-to-frame between formats. (ie. 1 extra frame is added for every 24 frames on your timeline = 4%) One thing to note however is that that AUDIO from the 25p footage will need to be streched by 4% also if you need to maintain any sync.. If no sync is required, you are laughing.

Cheers,
