DVD's have jagged edges!!! HELP

Seems more that 75% of the time when I author/burn a DVD from the Premiere timeline, the final product has EXTREMELY jagged edges (all the objects in the shots with straight edges are stair-stepped severely). I've tried every encoding setting I can imagine. Same thing. ONCE i got a good DVD and when I tried to go back and re-create the scenario- no luck. What am i doing wrong? Does making 16:9 DVD's have something to do with it? I've read another post about GOP settings and keeping the Max Bitrate under 8mbps. None of that seems to help either. Anyone else seen this? I can import something into my CHEAP Pinnacle Studio 10 softwate and it burns fine (but I cannot get it to burn as a 16:9, only letterbox). As far as the Premiere...any suggestion?

THanks

I see no one is responding to my question here. Hmmmm, that tells me alot of people are having same issue but NO ONE knows the solution?

How do you burn a DVD from the Premiere timeline? I can't do that in my version. Is this an option in newer versions?

Anyway, I tend to see the jagged edges when I am doing high-motion stuff without using progressive settings on my camera. I don't do that any more. I am currently editing a long project I shot interlaced which has the jagged edges. I used the de-interlace option and it solved my problem. Maybe that would work for you.
