Dvda External Monitor

Hi Guys

I'm pretty new to video editing and all the related stuff and have realised that I will now spend the rest of my life trying to understand everything. I have a question about Vegas 6 and Dvda 3. In Vegas, I preview to an external monitor using the Windows Secondary Display option and this works great. In Dvda I only have the OHCI compliant IEEE 1394/DV option to choose from so I've used the usual firewire/camcorder passthrough option and this works but I find it a pain to keep setting up the camcorder each time I sit on the pc to do some editing. Is it normal to have the windows secondary display in Vegas but not in Dvda? Both Vegas and Dvda have been updated to .0c

Many thanks

Mike

DVDArchitect does not have the secondary monitor display, can't comment as to why or why not. Currently, DVD Architect does not have SDI or Secondary...so 1394 is your only current choice for external monitoring.
I could be wrong, but I'm unaware of any DVD authoring app that has secondary or SDI out for sub 5k?
