DVDA 2.0 administrator account?

i have installed my old copy of DVDA 2.0 on my new computer with Vista. When i try to make a DVD, it tells me "You are currently logged on to this computer without system administrator privileges. Some features of this program may not be available to you." then it won't allow me to click finish (its greyed out) and actually prepare and burn the DVD.

I only have one account in Vista, and it is an administrator account. Any ideas on how to get around this? thanks.

wow, i just found out I can't run DVD architect with Vista. Ouch. Anybody know if a new version than 2.0 will work?

The problem you describe is caused by the Vista "User Account" security feature. Turn off User Account and it will install but Vegas stupidly doesn't support Vista for any product.

I was just having a similar problem with DVD Architect 3.0 on Vista. I was able to make it work by finding the .exe file in Program Files>Sony>DVD Architect 3.0>dvdarch30.exe and right click and choose "run as administrator". It then let me burn my disc normally. Hope this can help others with the same issue.
