DVD Studio problem

I'm having a real problem here. I'm building and formatting my DVD and all is well until it gets to the "writing lead-out data" phase at the very end and then it freezes and the disc just spins endlessly until I finally have to force quit and restart my computer.

If I play the DVD after this, it plays fine but then freezes at the end of the video, rather than end jumping back to the menu. I haven't had this problem before, it only started happening last night, but I've certainly added to my collection of coasters since then.

Any ideas?

Not sure of the problem. but what you can do is write the image to the hard disk instead of burning in DVD SP. Save it as a .img and use Toast or Disk Utility built into every Mac to burn the .img to disc and avoid the error...hopefully.

Thanks, i'll give that a try. I've actually managed to get around the problem by going straight to "Burn", rather than "Build / Format".

Mercury must be in retrograde or some such whoo-ha because I've had a lot of brand new problems in the last week.
