DVD Studio Pro

Hey everyone, I'm working on a project and the director has given me around 25 stills from her latest film to use for a menu. The way that she wants the menu is to have stills showing for 4 or 5 seconds and flying off the screen and another one appear. I know I can do something like this in Motion, but I'm still learning DVD Studio Pro and I was wondering if there is any way that I can put a background video as the menu of a DVD using DVD Studio Pro?

Any help would be appreciated!

Thanks
Ken

Not sure if this is exactly what you're looking for... but here's what I did in a similar situation-

Create a new sequence in FCP and title it "DVD menu".
Import stills to FCP
Arrange stills in "DVD menu" timeline as required.
Go to Effects in browser and tinker around with the transitions until you get the flying off the screen effect you like the best and pull it into each timelime transition.
Export sequence with compressor.
Import compressed sequence to DVD Studio, then just drag it into menu.
Basic, but quick... trick is not to make it look amateur.

If you want to sex it up a bit you could photoshop the stills, making multiple layers using elements of each still, then transfer the layers to your timeline in FCP and fly the individual layers offscreen and so on. If you spend a bit of time with it, you can get interesting results.
