Hey everybody,

If I burn a project on dvd with DVD STP and I watch the result on a widscreen tv, the outsides of the project fall away and are not shown. Is there a way to work with a safe-zone in the project to avoid that parts are not shown when you play the endproduct on a tv. Thanks.

What do you mean "the outside edges of the project fall away and are not shown?"

Either the edges don't fit in the viewable area because the video is larger, or the viewable area is larger than the video content.

You can toggle the safe zone guides on/off in DVDSP as well as change the aspect ratio of a project.

Its under the View menu in the menubar. There are the Title Safe Area and Action Safe Area options in there. You'll still want to bleed right to the edges, because on some sets/projections you might see outside of the action safe, but certainly you'll want your key elements (buttons, text, etc.) inside the Title Safe Area. Hope that's what you were looking for.
