Dvd studio pro problems on the intel mac..HELP

Dvd studio pro 4.1.1 (intel mac pro) "lastest & greatest"
My dvd's don't play on any dvd player including apple dvd player...
every step of the way has been successful (copression, linking, simulation,building,formating,etc). i've authored over 200 different dvd studio pro projects and cannot figure out why its not working... DVD STUDIO PRO EXPERTS PLEASE COME TO MY AID..
 
What media are you burning to? Give a few specifics on your project and perhaps we can nail it down...

i'm burning to standard single layer -r dvd's (perhaps verbatims), and i've tried it on a series of different projects starting from one 1 and a 1/2 hour wedding video compressed w/ the 120min. preset as well as experimenting with smaller videos from quicktimes that i've compreessed and tried to burn with 1 menu and 1 button just to connect the track and go through the regular dvd motions. Point being i've tried many times from square one to get throug authoring a project successfully and have come to the same result being a dvd that before fomating works perfectly as it should within dvd studio pro and then after the format (or burn) on to a disc will not be read by dvd players.(muliple dvd players at that). Note: these discs will be at a stand still when you put them in..after hitting the menu button will show you the dvd menu and as soon as you hit the play button and or hit enter on the menus play button will automticlly stop like the vob files are errored or unsupported by the player?. i am really stumped.
 
try "burning" to an .iso file instead of to a disc...you can mount the image icon and open it DVD Player to check that it'll work. then burn the .iso in Disk Utility, Toast, etc...
