DVD Studio Pro, "No write current"

I am trying to burn a rough cut of my project, and in the middle of burning, it stops with an error: "The recording device reported the hardware error: No write current. (0x03, 0x01.)"

I have no idea what this means. I have burned many previous cuts of the same footage/project, so I don't understand why it is coming up with an error message.

(1) Perhaps the burner is on its last legs? Though the error ought not to occur at the same point each attempt if that was the case. Can you burn fine out of like Toast or just using the OSX Burn Folders?

(2) Have you tried just putting together a simpler project in DVDSP and burning that? Maybe just a 2-3 minute video, slap it in there, use some templates and see if that works. If it does, might be something corrupt with the DVDSP project (the imported assests, ah the project file itself, etc.).

(3) You could also use the "Build" option in DVDSP instead. Then use Toast to burn the Video_TS and Audio_TS files.
