DVD Studio Pro issues...

I am trying to burn a simple DVD build in DVD Studio Pro. The burn was successful, but my DVD player says it's a bad disk.

I tried the DVD on my Mac and it played fine. I burned a 2nd DVD and it says the same thing on my DVD player. The build log says it's playable in regions 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 8. I'm in California, so it should work for Region 1, right?

I'm using Quicktime movies, originally AVIs from my point and shoot digital.

Any settings I might need to check?

What are your audio settings? How did you convert it? Might best be moved to FCP forum.

If you used QT AIFF audio you probably exceeded your bit rate limit for the dvd player.

Would be my guess.
