DVD Studio Pro... FF and Rewind not working???

Hi... I have this problem with DVD Studio... every time I author a DVD, when I play it afterwards either on my Mac or on my TV or even when I simulate it in DVD Studio itself... the Fast Forward and Rewind buttons DO NOT WORK. You can use the SKIP/CHAPTER buttons to move forward or backward, but you cannot scan with the FF and Rewind buttons... which is kind of annoying.

You'd think that enabling those button is something DVD Studio would automatically do, though. I know other people who experience this problem as well, so it's not just my computer or software. Anybody knows how to fix this?

DVDSP's Simulator doesn't do fast forward or rewind- only step to next or previous chapter. But DVD player should do it- check your scanning speed preferences.

hmm, well you're right about the simulator... and the FF and rewind buttons DO work on my Mac, now that I checked again. But then again, DVD Studio Pro on Mac and DVD Player on Mac... I'd expect compatibility... but it's not working on my TV's DVD player... in fact, on my OTHER DVD player in the house, it says it can't even read the disk...

I guess it's just a matter of compatibility with older player models? Is there a way in DVD Studio Pro, some sort of compatibility check, to make sure your DVD will run smoothly regardless of whether it's played on a computer or DVD player, and regardless of brand/model?
