I used Compressor to export my MPEG2 files but I'm wondering if there is a way to resize my video so it fits within' the means of which, anyone will be able to see my video (I understand that someone watching it on a computer will be able to see without any action or title cropping, but I dont care if a computer watcher has a cropped lines but I really want a TV set to show the image in its full form)

Any tips on resizing in DVDsp or even compressor tips to avoid a TV set loosing image would be great!

cheers

You don't want to do this- because TVs are not consistent enough to all have the same crop. So if you try to design your footage to fit within action or title safe- it will look right on some TV's and very odd on others. All cameras shoot into action safe for this exact reason.

The only thing that's really important is designing your titles to fit into title safe. Otherwise they will be cropped off on people's TV's. That's why FCP, Motion and DVDSP have action and title safe areas to help you figure out where to put stuff.
