Dvd Studio Pro 3

What's the issue. I have yet to feel limited by it, I have been using it for three years. It's integration with photoshop is seamless. Somebody 's grumpy!

We are here for you.

I will author a DVd set it up beautifully and get it working in the "simulator" exactly as I want it.

Then I burn it and the menu transitions don't jump properly. The beginining of tracks start a second late. Just a little imperfection here and there.....

Drives me nuts!!!!!

I want perfect resuts. Consistently.

I don't get that with DVD STUDIO "PRO" so I think it sucks.

Ever think it could be user error? Settop box issues, etc?

I used 3 for years, recently upgraded to 4. I've never seen any of these issues that you're talking about.

I too have never had a problem. You got to remember some of these DVD players out there are quite finicky. I've had movies that I own play differently on my comp or mult. DVD players.

Maybe I am making some error.

I just did a stimple test. A menu clip that times out and jumps to a track.

When it makes the jump there is a little audio glip. (the audio from the menu replays a note) and then the track starts playing before we can see the image.

This means you can her the sound but you miss a second of the animation at the start of the video track.

Also when it jumps to the track I get this jaged screen for a frame. It looks like a backward Z with the menu on the top and the track on the bottom.

This is only once burnt. The simulator doesn't do this. In fact it doesn't even do this on every transition. Just when I really need it not to because I'm sending a film out.

I'm playing back on a variety of compters and players to test.
