Of Apple's production suite, why does DVD SP suck compared to the rest of the programs? We are forever fighting subtitle issues, (program crashes all the time when working with them, you can't copy/paste streams, even within a project, which is a joke?!)

I have run this program on several machines, it's the latest version, and always have problems. If you manually select transitions between menu's or links, half of them work, half of them don't? Manually select a menu or end jump target, and it goes elsewhere?

Am I the only one that has problems with this? I am ready to start looking at different authoring software

You're not the only one with DVD authoring Problems. I've tried to author several professional discs with Adobe Encore CS3 and have had similar problems with constant crashing, unable to finish project, had to cut features to get the final product. CS4 fixes some of the memory issues, but the software is still buggy for full fledged retail DVD products.

It seems like unless you want to spend $2,000 on Sonic Scenaritst, you are just peddling with a toy.
