I thought I had this down but something went wrong again. I had some issues a while back with rendering 24pa and burning to dvd where roxio would duplicate every 4th frame. I did the 24p template rendering and that seemed to fix it for a while. Now, I went and rendered some footage for some friends and noticed the duplication again. I'm thinking I may be doing too many pulldowns or something. For example I took some avi (who knows which pulldown I rendered it with a while back) and mixed it with some new footage and rendered it again with 23.976 2+3 pulldown and the problem came back. When rendering an avi file that I know I will have to re-edit in the future I should use 2:3:3:2 pulldown, right? This is giving me a headache.

EDIT: Should I render mpg-2 at 23.976 since the footage is progressive? Or 23.976 with 2:3 pulldown?
