When I make a DVD from DVD Arc 3, My DVD's will not play properly with Nero or Windows media player. It will play fine in a regular DVD player.......
If I pop in a comercial disk it plays fine in both. What could be causing this?

I render out from vagas as a Mpeg2 and then I render out the audio as a wav file because I don't like the volume drop from AC3.

Load in the files to DVD Arc3 as a single movie, no menue. Then burn.

Any ideas?
Playback from DVD Arc preview plays funky also.

Thanks.

That's unusual. Usually it’s the other way around. This is a really wild guess – maybe your set top player has better error correction. The factory discs play fine in both places because they are, well, factory. The PC made disc plays OK on the set top because even though there are errors, the error correction on the set top properly corrects for it?

Suggestion/Comment: I used to run into problems with some of my discs until I went to burning on high quality discs (I use only Sony discs now), and always burn at the slowest burn speed possible. This will insure the best possible result. I took these steps over a year ago and haven’t had a bad disc since.

DVDA preview has never been awry for me. PLz try clicking the button on the top right corner which says HIGH / MEDIUM / LOW. Choose medium or low nd your preview should be ok. It never jitters in my system even in high preview quality. But mines a 3.4 ghz dual core. Dont know what your config and ram is so lowering the quality might help. Secondly plz check and see if your authoring your dvds with some kind of region coding. There is a setting for that too that might prevent playback on some players. Set it to ALL region. Finally and i think this is the most common reason. Just dont use those cheap brand dvds. I had a similar problem. DVD arch would fluck all my discs. About 30 of them. I kept trying till the pack finished. LOL. Then i got a new brand with higher writing speed. Now ive never lost even one disc due to a DVDA error. All discs come out clean and wonderful. GIve it a bump and see.
