DVD most wanted that hasn't been released?

Filmjunkie677

Master of Horror
Name a film which hasn't been released on dvd and really should.

My #1..... "The Stepfather"
The greatest film of the 80's!

"Battle Royale"

Yes, I know there is a horrible Tartan DVD release, but I want one specifically made for the american market with a decent subtitle translation.

Chris

Reds - Great political movie from the 70s

I'd also love for Warner Brothers to release a great box set of 'The Films of Jeremy Ordan (me)' but...

I have the tartan 2-disc directors cut and its fantastic. I ordered mine from www.diabolikdvd.com
I also have BR 2 which was kinda lame.

I agree about Battle Royale.

How about Robin Hood: Men in Tights? It's never been released on DVD, how lame is that?

Criterion recently released "Naked" so I'm happy for a while. Though "Hardware" would be nice.

Richard Linklater's SubUrbia (Not the 1984 punk one).
They're having some kind of trouble getting the rights to the music or something that's why its not out on dvd yet. I refuse to buy an ancient VHS.

EDIT: Fixed some grammatical errors.

Love your sig, man. I can't tell you how much those grammatical errors annoy me online. The contraction, "it's," and the most mispunctuated word in the English language online, "its," thing drives me nuts!

By the way, am I the only dweeb that actually PREFERS the theatrical release of Blade Runner (which is out of print on VHS) over The Director's Cut? I had a copy of the VHS, but the sound was bad, so I returned it and never saw another copy again.

Any Spielberg disk with a director's commentary...and I mean any. Hell, I'd settle for one of the Night Gallery episodes.

I'm with you, man, on that one. Sometimes it's (sorry) the studio that actually gets it right. To a lesser degree, I feel the same about Legend (the U.S. theatrical version being a better film).
