Dvd Labels and Inserts

Hi, I make wedding videos and occasionally a sports highlight video. I try to master copies to dvd since the quality far surpasses vhs. I have heard that the Epson printer is good for printing directly to cds. I have found a few different models that epson makes that print to cd/dvd anyone know of one that is better than the other. Second, is there a certain program being used to design the dvd inserts. When i bought my first labeling kit, ( hey i had to start cheap) it came with MediaFACE software, it works but its lame. Anyone got some suggestions?

The R200/R300 are great. The R300 has card reader slots; printing mechanism is the same.

You can design the lables on anything you want and import it into the Epson printing software.

As for the inserts, use photo paper. There are templates available for Photoshop, but again I suspect you can create it with anything you want and then feed it into the MediaFACE software.

Re: Dvd Labels and Inserts

I just bought the Epson R200 for $99 at CompUSA, and printed a bunch of 'imprintable' DVDs with it. High quality! Easy! 3.5 minutes per DVD. I haven't made a misprint yet. This is a must-have tool for videographers, in my opinion.
