Dvd Intro

That is just AWESOME! Great blend of all the layers.

Would you mind breaking it down?

You have the still water background, the film gate, a possible dirty frame layer, the film dust&scratches layer, and then did you do photoshop frame-by-frame animation on the blobs or did you just do masks with minor feathering? And then lastly the beach wave which you motion tracked and applied to your text? Just a guess. Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Also was that shore wave on the beach a stock clip or did you shoot that yourself?

Looks good man, I'm just starting to get into motion graphics so I'm curious about your methods.

Thanks guys.

So a basically, the blobs, were from photoshop, which then i used the "write-on" tool, then revealed the image. The wave footage is stock footage (not my own), film stock is real film stock. The blood dripping, all i simply did was go in photoshop and drew a straight line ( a streak ), imported that to AE, then used the "write-on" tool, and literally revealed it in one stroke. Simple. Thanks.

dammit, the halftone doesnt work!! Is it a brush plug-in for photoshop? Can you PM me and maybe send me the file to my email Daniel?

Could you please give detailed instructions on how to get this look?
I really want this look and im pretty much retarded. Im good with the basics but inventive stuff like this im a stump, thanks so much man!

Lookin good man. I'd play with some bias on your camera moves to give it a more organic feel imho.

I was going to say the same thing as kai. Great looking intro, the only the that pulls me out of it are the harsh stops and starts. Smooth out some of the pathing by adding some curves might make it even better, and more realistic.
