I want to do an audio comentary on the DVD menu, Any suggestions on the best way to auther comentaries on DVDs?

in DVD Architect 3, you bring in the audio file, make a link on the menu, ex. Director Commentary, and link the already loaded video to it as well. The person viewing can choose to watch it by clicking on it.

Most products can do it, all pro ones at least.

Just add the commentary as a second audio track and link a button to set the audio to that track. The audio button on the remote will also activate it if that is left enabled.

Make sure you get it in sync! Even a lot of major DVD releases fail to sync up their commentaries properly - bloody amateurs!

Don't forget to blend it in with your original soundtrack -- unless you want people to hear you yack about a silent film.

Also, I do my commentary tracks in mono to save space on the disc. Saves me about 300MB per hour.

when you bled it...do you have to rerender the entire sound track? Or should there be control for that in your program?

I havent check in DVD Lab Pro yet about this

That's a great tip Owen:) I useually buy DVD Movies for the comentaries!:)lol
I notice some have the audio really low... What is a standard rule of thumb, ratio for levels of comentary/soundtrack?

Best way?
