DVD Burner Program

Sorry if this is the wrong place to post, but I'm looking for a program that will let me drag and drop (or move in some fashion) avi files to a DVD disk. I have the NEC 1100A but my Roxio program that came with it won't recognize the drive -- it recognizes the CD. Don't won't to invest in an upgrade to Roxio if it still won't work?
Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.

Personally, I like Nero. It does a good job of recognizing external hardware, has a decent GUI and DVD/SVCD authoring has enuf features for my needs.

NERO is where its at...

but as for roxio not recognizing ure drive

goto the drive manufaturs website and download the newest firmware for the drive and also make sure roxio is up to date....if its still not working...then you are doing something wrong, and need to check out ure prefernces in roxio to get it set up properly...
