Hey, I burnt something onto a DVD R+ with architect and it wont play in my dvd player, but when i put it into my computer it sais open DVD with windows media player, and that plays,

So I'm wondering, I did the burning stuff right right? but, are there certain types of DVD's that most dvd players prefer to read?

My burner does DVD R + and R- and DVD RW+ and RW- ... do I need RW's for most dvd players?

Or did I do something wrong burning it onto the dvd?

Ok I have tried DVD- R now and that wont work on 2 different DVD players in my house, 1 is brand new. I must be doing something wrong when burning? I made a menu and everything and then press burn dvd and it checked it and burned sucessfully,

But when the disc goes in it sais, Check disc. disc error.

Ok, I just made a back up of a dvd of mine onto a DVD-R and it plays fine in my players, So theres something thats not burning right on the disc, or I'm doing something wrong with DVD architect? Any Ideas?

Nope, I figured it out, I was only preparing the DVD not burning it, my bad, it works now, but let me ask , How do I get better quality, what is the absolutly BEST setting to render your project to get the BEST quality for DVD transfer?
