I'm just getting familiar with DVDA and I notice there are very few stock backgrounds. Does Sony have a site where you can get free backgrounds or anybody have any suggestions where to get them? Or do I need to design my own? If so, is that usually done in PhotoShop or Illustrator? Obviously I'm not much of a designer, but hey if I have to, I'll give it a shot if it's my only choice. Any help is greatly appreciated. :dankk2:

You can buy a myriad of backgrounds both static and motion. You can also use either photshop or illustrator alone or in combo. You can use photos, scanned line art, etc.
Look at commercial DVD menus for quides. You will see many that use a montage effect of screen shots and/or film characters blended with line art. The sky is the limit as to design. Experiment and have fun
