DVD Architect 4.0 question

Hello everyone. I am editing with Vegas 6 and doing all my DVD authoring with Architect 4. I did not buy the two together and therefore I don't have a .ac3 plugin for audio rendering. So I know that I can still render out my video as MPEG2 24p DVD and audio as .wav. My question is: what settings should I render the .wav at to achieve the best results in my final production on DVD?
 
Isn't that what .wav renders as by default? The last project I did was rendered as .wav PCM 44,000 Hz uncompressed. Is this the proper way to render audio or is there a better way?
