DVD Architect 3.0 Won't Let Me Prepare/Burn

Hi, I’m trying to burn a MPEG-2 video I rendered using DVD Architect 3.0, but the program won’t let me! When I click on prepare, choose an empty folder and click next, I get the following error message: “The selected folder is not valid. It is either not possible to create the folder or you do not have write access.” I’ve tried to prepare using different folders.
I also attempted to prepare a different MPEG-2 file, and received the same result! Any ideas as to how to fix this? Thanks!
 
OK. Whatever the problem is appears to be a problem with my new laptop, security issue-wise, because I put the needed files into an external HD and attempted to render using a desktop, and it worked fine.
