I have some footage that I shot 108024pa with the HVX. I imported the p2, made it 24p and worked in a 23.98 timeline. Now I want to print the video back to the camera's p2 card but it wont let me do a realtime 3:2:2:3 pulldown and makes it 2:2:2:4 which is yuck. How do I go about printing to video with a 3:2:2:3 pulldown or is there a way to convet the footage back to 24pa 1080 @ 29.97 so I can print it back to the p2 card.
 
I have the answer!!! Who hooo! Upgrade to fcp 5.14!!!

It has the new p2 import viewer and easy setups for 1080pa and 3223 pulldown reinsertion in the rt window. Every bloody thing I've spent several days pulling my hair out with. Phew!

Shane, I'm going back to the P2 so I could check what my footage really looks like compared to the original once I've messed with it. Also I'm taking it to work and projecting it on a 2k projector on a 30ft screen to see how it holds up. I'm not sure how people deliver at the best quality for festivals etc but I think that running it through the camera would be closest to how it would play compared to running it from a DVCPROHD tape deck? I'm not sure if runing it from the DVI on my MBP would be the corret signal?

Getting there, love 1080pa on the HVX, even better now i've upgraded to 5.14
