"DV start/stop detection" seems confused

Hey folks,
I'm doing a tape capture from a DVX100A into FCP.
Start/stop detect is activated, and after capturing a string of shots, the "mark-DV Start/Stop Detect" function puts a bunch of markers on the sequence.

Here's the problem:
Some of them are at the right spots and some of the markers are in the middle of shots, so when I create a subclip, it includes partial shots, or parts of two or even three shots.

What's the deal?

Thanks,
Michael

I can't give insight, but I'll just note I have the same problem with some of the 24pA footage that I've run through Cinema Tools.

It's a pain, I agree. I end up just not-doing the start-stop detect.

Unfortunately I can't help, but I've encountered the same problem. I think dropping the frames messes up the program's ability to calculate the time difference between takes. It's the only thing I can think of to explain how the markers aren't consistantly wrong and sometimes missing altogether.
